The short version
vantaform is a Gmail client that personalizes your inbox. Here is what you are agreeing to, in plain language.
- Your email stays in Google. We never host or copy your inbox on our servers.
- Layout and themes stay on your device by default. Cloud backup is optional.
- We watch how you use the interface, not what you read. Suggestions need your OK.
- No AI reads your mail today. Any future AI feature will be opt-in.
Your data
Where everything lives
Three places. Three clear rules. No surprises.
Google stores your mail. vantaform fetches it when you open a thread, then shows it in your browser. We never keep a permanent copy on our servers.
You agree to
Let vantaform read and act on mail through the official Gmail API when you ask it to.
Your browser
Your inbox layout, theme, shortcuts, and a temporary mail cache live in your browser. This data does not leave your device unless you turn on cloud sync.
You agree to
Let vantaform save preferences and usage patterns locally to personalize your experience.
vantaform cloud
If cloud sync is on, we store your layout and custom themes so you can pick up on another device. We never sync mail, caches, or behavior signals.
You agree to
Optionally back up your layout to our database, only when cloud sync is enabled.
